## Summary
Annotating discourse relations reliably is hard. Coherence lives largely in the reader's interpretation, so agreement between annotators tends to be low, and discourse corpora usually improve through successive revisions. This paper presents the Prague Discourse Treebank 3.0 (PDiT 3.0), a new release of the Czech discourse layer built on the deep-syntax (tectogrammatical) trees of the Prague Dependency Treebank (PDT).

The authors revised the PDiT 2.0 annotation of relations signalled by primary and secondary connectives, drawing on three sources of problems:
- loosely defined pragmatic relations and explication, which annotators had treated inconsistently;
- inconsistencies found while building the CzeDLex connective lexicon;
- unresolved cases flagged in annotators' comments.

The new version agrees with CzeDLex. Besides its native Prague Markup Language format, it is also distributed in the Penn Discourse Treebank 3.0 format, with plain text plus stand-off annotation and the PDTB sense taxonomy.

The result is a cleaner and more consistent Czech discourse resource. The PDTB-compatible export makes it easier to compare across languages and to use in NLP tasks such as discourse parsing, summarization and question answering.

## Key points
- PDiT 3.0 annotates 21,662 discourse relations, with an additional 445 list relations, spanning about 49 thousand PDT sentences (49,431 sentences, over 833 thousand tokens).
- Pragmatic condition, pragmatic reason–result, pragmatic contrast and explication were reworked thoroughly, and inconsistencies across all discourse types were fixed.
- The annotation is consistent with CzeDLex, a lexicon of more than 200 level-one Czech connective entries.
- Data are released in Prague Markup Language and in PDTB 3.0 format with the PDTB 3.0 sense taxonomy.
- Only explicitly marked relations between finite-verb arguments are annotated throughout. Implicit relations are covered only in a sample of about 2,600 sentences from 15 genres.
